Caring For Your silver
Sterling Silver as with other precious metals, can show signs of tarnishing over time. However, with a little tender love and care and some properly observed maintenance, your silver will not only improve with age, it will also reward you with long life as it develops a lush and lustrous look.
Cleaning
Cleaning with a mild soap-and-water solution is recommended. Dry carefully with a soft clean cloth. Do not use tissue or paper towels for the drying process as the rough fibres of these products can scratch the surface of your jewellery.
For more stubborn dirt, a jewellery cleaner labelled specifically for sterling silver use is more appropriate. If your piece is gem-set then please make sure that your cleaner is safe to use as some cleaners which are ideal for sterling silver may be too harsh for the gemstones set.
